Cable Tool Drilling Rig
Point of Rocks, Wyoming

On a return trip from Minnesota to Las Vegas, I stopped for fuel at a Conoco station in Point of Rocks, WY. I noticed this museum like garage next door. The rig in the yard out front looked familiar, like I had seend something like it before. As I walked up and took a look, I could see that it was a well drilling rig. Assisde from the wooden frame, I could see that it was almost identical to the one that my grandfather (Floyd Tooping) used to drill wells in northern Minnesota.
